What is Applane?
Applane is an AI builder for internal tools in Google Workspace. Employees describe what they need, try a preview and share the finished app with their team.
Turn a shared Sheet into a request form, an approval flow or a team tracker. The people doing the work can shape the tool, managers can see what needs attention, and your company owns the result.
Applane at applane.dev builds internal tools on Google Workspace. It is unrelated to other products named Applane or App Lane.
The facts in one place
- What does setup involve?
- Your admin connects Google Workspace and Cloud. We provide the setup script, guide and checks. Allow about an hour with the right admin access.
- Where do the apps run?
- In your Google Apps Script project, under your domain. Each app is a Drive file owned by its builder.
- Where does the AI run?
- Gemini on your own Vertex AI project, billed by Google at its price. Applane adds no AI fee.
- What does Applane store?
- Account and billing information, admin activity and service logs. Website analytics and contact forms are covered in the privacy notice.
- What does Applane never receive?
- Google access tokens, app source, prompts, Sheet or BigQuery contents, or who opens an app.
- How much does it cost?
- €12 per builder per month, after a 14-day free trial with no card. Viewers are never counted.
- What happens if you cancel?
- The apps keep running in your Google. Only the builder locks.
